2025 was my 7th Dominican Day parade I have photoed in last 8 years ( 2020 was cancelled ) . It’s still one of my favorite parades to photograph and one of the better parades to see if you’re in NYC.
The best parades to see , in my opinion , are the Pride parade , Mermaid , Puerto Rican, Dominican , Veterans Day and Columbus Day. Theses are all fairly long parades , about 3 hours +. I do like the more traditional parades , Greek , Japanese and Steuben ( German) but they are shorter and it’s more time traveling to and from then the parade is long . So I skip them sometimes .
