It was the winter of ‘22, the year of the tiger . The water tiger to be precise , starting February 1st to January 21st , 2023. Although the tiger appears every 12 yrs in the chinese , the water tiger occurs every 60 yrs .
February 20th , was the day of this year’s Chinese New Years parade in Chinatown, New York City . Last Chinese New Years Parade was February 2020 , the beginnings of the covid pandemic, 2021 being cancelled for this reason .
This day was extremely cold , but , many people turned out for the event that lasted about 2 hours .
