Friday the 13th in New York City was one of the hottest days I spent in the city shooting .. the temperatures were mid 90f / 35c and with the humidity it was feeling about 105f / 40c , so it was hot in the city this day .
But, we had a shoot to do and our only opportunity , as , Azusa was only in the city for about 1 full day coming from and returning to Utah , where she is a dancer with the Utah Metropolitan Ballet.
Azusa is a ballet dancer from Japan and has been dancing since she was 3 years old and in the states for about 6 years .
Our shoot was decided to be in the Dumbo area of Brooklyn, New York , one of my favorite areas to shoot in . So even with the temperatures that day we started the shoot about 3:30 till about 5:30 . I used my canon 5D mark III, with a canon 50mm 1.8f lens .
