The No Kings protest went off around the country on October 18th , I decided to attend and photo the march in New York City . As I listened to news before and after the event , I was a bit unhappy with media coverage calling it joyous . I think I heard that word a hundred times . But, the event wasn’t about joy or being joyous , the people are angry , scared , unhappy and this wasn’t a big happy celebration. Yes , the event was peaceful , the people were civilized, but , joyous ?
