Recently I was in New York cities Central Park when I came across the filming of the movie , Savyasachi , a Tollywood movie for Indian audience . I know most are saying , hey it’s Bollywood , but , no Tollywood is correct . Apparently movies in south India are Tollywood .

But to the point of my post , and hopefully this should be my last post on this topic . My stolen photos . In a recent post I had talked about how people were stealing my photos on Instagram and reusing them . But last night, out of curiosity, I searched the web for information about the movie and to see if my photos were again out there somewhere .

Well , it took my less then 5 minutes to find news / celebrity sites using my photos in India .

Deccan chronicle

This is to name the few that I found , Teluga360 has since removed the photo after my email . The others I emailed and nothing has been done at the point , nor has anyone responded . So the question maybe this , what am I looking for ? Well , most of all they should have purchased the photos from me and at the very least give me photo credit , but at this time , nothing has happened in regards to this . The websites maliciously took my photos and used them .

I did write emails to about 5 different companies last night , and I wasn’t writing angrily . I just told each that they are my photos and I had not given any permission for there use in publication .

Below you will find my photos that are seen above :

    1. Yea , lesson learned , but , I guess I should have said why they weren’t watermarked to begin with . I am a Getty images / istock contributor and they do not accept watermarked photos , and my intention was to give to Getty . I also have a website with the photos and they had a watermark across the faces and I was selling those photos for .99c if you buy it the watermark disappears. In the end they were screen shooting the photos with the watermarks and taking them as well . And some had the nerve to write me in Instagram asking for me to remove the watermarks 😂 but in the end I did learn from this experience. I had an incident in the past where a photo I posted on Instagram was wanted by CNN news . But rather then steal it , they gave me an email address and spoke to me about it . I guess I thought the honor system meant something to someone in the world . And lastly . I had 15,000 visitors to that gallery in 1 day , and not 1 person bought a .99c photo . Sorry for the long reply . Thank you for your comment .
