As I mentioned in a previous post, I would try to write something about some of the people I meet in Central Park . People of the Park I will call it (POP)  These posts could be anyone from the performers , vendors or maybe tourists that I come across . I would like to think it may be informative about the person or persons . Maybe it’s just a few photos and a name, could be more . I’m not sure , just an idea I have as I meet others . Truth is I am not sure where I’m taking this WordPress , it began as a place to show my photos . But , as I see others posts I now find myself thinking what to say on a daily basis , other ideas etc . I am definitely not a writer , though I’m trying . Interesting today I had an offer from someone to write a guest appearance post weekly or monthly , that could be interesting too . Ok now I’m babbling .

If your still reading :

I will make me the first P.O.P .

A little bit about me  : I enjoy to photo as you may have noticed . I used to be trigger happy , shooting everything in sight . Now , I’ve learned patience and to try to catch moods or feelings in my photos . I prefer most to street photo , shooting people ( not literally)  but enjoying the nature shots as most people in for the winter . Animals as well as people take a kind of patience and good eye . To get the shot , what a rewarding feeling ! Anyone with a camera can photo the Statue of Liberty any day anytime . But no one will ever be able to photo the moments ever again .  I believe to many people walk down a street , photo a person or a crowd of people in black and white and call that street photography . Trust me , it’s much more then that . You need to find the moment , feel the emotion . Is the person happy or sad , what are they thinking . It’s this that takes patience and time . The right face , the right mood . Well let me end that little gabbing session about that .

If you decide to read the last paragraph you will learn my goals in photography ! Come on your almost there .

What’s my goal in photography  ? Well , it’s not only to share my street photography , my nature photos or cityscapes here in WordPress  . I hope to be “discovered” . But , discovered for what you may ask ? Or truth is you probably haven’t read this far . But if your still here .  I want to be a traveling photographer . Of course I can always go to a little studio and photo kids / weddings and other type of posed photos but , that’s not me . ( though I would happily do “background ” photos for you , see last post ) Maybe you see from my last post about brides , I don’t want to be that type of photographer and if you’ve followed my wordpress or photo sites you see I photo more then people . I want to photo life , traditions , people , cities of the world I could change my POP – people of the Park to POW – People of the World . Whether it’s a small village in Bulgaria or London , England . If anyone is in need of a photographer to photo their area. In the near future  I hope to soon be sending photos to places around the world ( travel agencies etc . ) in hopes to be invited to do photos for their area or companies . Who knows , maybe they’ll invite me to photo for them . I’ll find a way . It would be a kind of nomadic life . But I welcome it . I’ll have my camera and that’s all I need.

And if anyone has other thoughts our ideas , please feel free to share comment here or contact me directly at .

Trust me , there’s a reason I stay behind the camera not in front .

  1. I really like your blog and the idea behind it. Wish I could do the same, but when I see something wonderful, my instinct is to just gape. It’s only afterwards that I wish I had taken a picture. Anyway, all I have to record the event is a low-end smartphone and no skills, so maybe it’s just as well. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics!

    1. Thank you so much ! I’m really happy to hear that . I had actually gotten lazy here because I wasn’t sure it was the right idea . It’s really sometimes all over the board with themes , parades to ducks . 😂 but it’s nice to know that someone likes it . I’ve recently been doing more photo shoots , not sure to add those here as well or not . Hmmmm . Maybe give me your opinion :))
