As you may have read in my previous post , I have been trying to track down this hawk for about the last month. I’ve photoed him several times, but looking for the in flight shot . Little did I know , this hawk is either looking for me or reads my blog , either way he tried to give me the shot of a lifetime . While photoing the day after my predator of the park blog, this happened . I was next to the water photoing some ducks for some nature shots . While leaning over the water and photoing this guy: (continued below photo)

I saw a large reflection of the hawk flying over my head and not very high above me . Well as I said maybe he’s looking for me too or likes his photo taken s he landed in a tree on a low branch not far from me . (Continued below photo)

Ok , now I’m going to get my shot !! I will wait , he will fly and I’m ready !! Yes !! …. NO!! He decides to fly , but , directly toward me . I’m snapping photos , I’m moving , waiting for him to grab my hat or head . So this is what I got ! The shot of a lifetime and I missed it .

That’s it my shots . Very disappointed but happy to have my hat.
